A Little Review…Ah, Saturday
Big changes are occurring on the blog tomorrow; after much tinkering on my part the new site design is finalized and I’m going to need and want your feedback! If you’re looking at the new site now, why not leave me a comment or shoot me an email – be honest – if you love something, I’d love to know. Same goes if you hate it, let me know!
This week on the blog, Dave and Deb from The Planet D have a moving guest post on Tuesday that made me really think hard about the people you encounter on the road.
Climate changes was the focus of Blog Action Day this past week. While A Little Adrift didn’t get a post up (I didn’t know!), Gadling had two great posts that made me ponder the role of Carbon Offsets in travel. On the one hand, they can be used to support irresponsible travel but on the other hand – something is better than nothing in my mind, so I will likely use Change.org to offset the carbon footprint of my trip.
Highlights from the Travel Community:
- The Planet D had a fun post with their Top 10 Travel and Adventure Favorites from Abroad - I’ve got my eye on snorkeling in Belize next year!
- Uncornered Market had a fantastic post about the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu - the panoramas are amazing and though I’ll have to discuss with the others I’m meeting in Peru, I think this trek is a front runner for me at least!
That’s about going to wrap up this week’s review because I have to finish beautifying the new design for tomorrow!
