I arrived in LA yesterday, this is my last stop in the US and a last hoo-rah with friends before I solo traveling it around Australia in just a few short days. I am here until Tuesday putting together the last of what I’ll need.

There are several REI’s (my favorite outdoor store) so I saved up some items to get while I am on this coast.

Also, I posted my rtw packing list so you can see just what’s in my backpack! I am taking just 60 litres in my main pack and a bit more in my laptop bag.

Wondering where I’m heading, I have my RTW travel route totally mapped out as well just for kicks so you can keep up with where I’ll be heading next!

Right now I’m just visiting with the friends I left behind two months ago when I moved from Los Angeles since all of the legwork is done (except for one last trip to REI tomorrow – need a couple more things for my medical kit).

I also plan to hit up my favorite spots in Los Angeles for those comfort foods I know I’m going to miss at some point!
